Please describe the interview / hiring process.
First round was a 30 minute zoom interview with two associates with a mix of technical and behavioral questions. Very surface level technical questions on mostly valuation and DCF and the basic behaviorals (TMAY, weaknesses/strengths, how would your friends describe you, etc.). After the first round it's straight to a superday with 4 back to back 30 min interviews with directors, vps, and MDs. First two interviews were all technicals with more math and accounting involved. Some industry related stuff as well (oil & gas modeling, FIG synergies,) and market questions. Last two interviews of the superday were all behavioral and fit questions and one of them asked about 2 deals you were following and the rationale.
