WashU MSF, opinions?
I've recently just got accepted into the WashU MSF, asset management track, and I'm really excited. However, looking at their employment reports, the salaries earned by the graduates are nothing impressive. Employment reportHere. The salaries are around 55-60k range, even for their most rigorous programmes (the quant one). I suspect that a reason why this is so low that, due to a high amount of international students, some go back to their home country, bringing the average down. On the other hand, schools with much lower GMAT/GPA requirements (UT Austin, SMU) have a better average salary. What would you guys think is the explanation behind the relatively low salary out of school?
