Alvarez & Marsal London: Prospects?

Hi Guys,

I am very close to receiving an offer from A&M as an Analyst in the London office, working across the Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) & Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) teams.

Does anyone have any idea / opinions about:
- Growth prospects at A&M?
- A&M’s reputation?
- Salary & Bonus?

Any help would be appreciated.

Currently work in PEPI at A&M US.

TC Range for an associate is around $150-180k depending on utilization and performance.

I’ve heard good things about the firm:

  • competitive TC
  • exits definitely depend on your projects/ interests , but you have multiple opportunities in finance/consulting world (with some exits I’ve known being in PE Ops/Start Ups/Corporate)
  • bonus is heavily dependent on individual performance which is great for high performers
  • firm seems to be growing - they have been hiring more recently
