Recruiting pipelines ´24/´25 for MBB / T2 in Europe (?)
Hey,
Heard some rumors about hiring freezes. As I choose between a 1Y and 2Y MSc degree, I was wondering if there are any trends or cues indicating that graduating in 2024 vs graduating in 2025 will come with significant effects for entry level recruiting?
Thankful for any advice. Targeting Central Europe / Northern Europe.
Go for 2y master's. Once the hiring slow-down (most firms are still hiring but much less) picks back up, you might as well get some additional internship and sign an offer early, you can always push back your start date.
Agree - given the current environment (start date pushbacks, select hiring freezes, etc.) I would consider two years rather than one if you can afford to.
Thanks guys!
Ended up with the 2Y degree. Agree with most of your points, and also realized that if I am set on a MSc, I would never regret taking another year VS getting out fast to the labor market
