Imma start my credit research internship soon in Europe in a buyside company. It will be my first credit research internship and I’m wondering if anyone can give me any suggestions on how to do this internship well? Especially I would really love to know if there is online resources for professional CRers?

When I joined my distressed credit hedge fund as an intern, I was given Annual reports of the European targets. I had to build Financial summary table which is a FCF Bridge basically. The other main thing was building Capital structure tables. Look at a few annual reports of junk rated companies to see all the different bonds they have issued. You don't need to know everything but it would give them a good impression that you are willing to learn. Other than that be ready to put in the effort and time into the role.
