S&P Structured Finance - London

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering how it is to work at S&P in the Structured Finance department:

-What sort of comp do you get at Associate level?

-What is the work-life balance?

-What are the prospects after pulling 2-3 years? Is it easy to transition to IB, HF or PE?

Any answer would be very much appreciated 🙏🙏

I know a lot of people in Structured Credit at the ratings agencies go on to do structuring at CLO managers and CLO primary at banks in London. I’m not too familiar with exit opps for other parts of structured finance.

Further to the previous comment it is good experience to move into securitisation structuring or financing or into private credit teams at banks or funds. From what I’ve heard the pay is a fair bit less than from a bank but the hours are a lot more comfortable
