Keybanc or Citi equity research?

Can people comment on which position is better in terms of prestige, quality of experience, exit opportunities, etc.:

KeyBanc Capital Markets equity research associate covering the energy sector
orCiti Investment Research equity research associate covering the REIT sector

Thank you in advance for your insight.

Assuming I am equally interested in both sectors. I understand that Citi has lost its prestige and Keybanc is very middle market (and I didn't even know they had equity research until I saw the job posting). Which is the better opportunity?

^^ Agree with the above statement but when it's between a BB and a MM firm that has no reputation for research, take the BB gig 99% of the time. I have a hard time believing the Keybanc analyst will be reputable given that he's at Keybanc. Obviously do you due dilligence on both analysts but you'll find out that the Citi opportunity will be much better in terms of pay and prestige.

Keybanc is out of NYC. From the interviews, the analysts at Key were much more intense - continuously talking about how I will be working my ass off, 3 hours of sleep a night, 3 out of 4 full weekends a month.

Which sector has better exit opportunities if I were looking to end up at a hedge fund some day? Oil/Gas exploration and production or REITs?
