Based on the most helpful WSO content, Akuna Capital is known for being selective in its hiring process, especially for roles that are highly competitive like trading positions. The fact that you received an invite despite feeling you didn't perform well could indicate a few things:
Holistic Review: Akuna Capital, like many firms, likely reviews candidates holistically. This means they consider more than just test scores or a single aspect of the application process. Your resume, past experiences, and how you fit with the company culture could have played a significant role in their decision to move forward with you.
High Demand for Talent: Given the competitive nature of the industry, firms are always on the lookout for potential talent. If you have a unique skill set or background that aligns with their needs, this could have contributed to your advancement in the process.
To convert this opportunity into an internship or full-time position, consider the following tips:
Preparation: Make sure you're well-prepared for the next stages of the interview process. This could involve brushing up on technical skills, practicing behavioral interview questions, and understanding Akuna Capital's business model and the industry they operate in.
Show Enthusiasm and Fit: Demonstrating your interest in the role and how you align with the company's culture and values can be just as important as technical proficiency. Research the firm thoroughly and be ready to discuss why you want to work there and how you can contribute.
Network: If possible, try to connect with current or former employees of Akuna Capital. They can provide invaluable insights into the company culture and what it takes to succeed there. Networking can also help you stand out in the application process.
Regarding the length of lectures or training sessions, the context doesn't provide specific details about their duration. However, it's common for firms to tailor the length of their training programs based on the complexity of the material and the role's requirements. If you're referring to a specific course or lecture series offered by Akuna Capital or related to the hiring process, it would be best to reach out directly to their HR department or the contact person managing your application for accurate information.
Remember, every step of the interview process is an opportunity to learn and improve. Good luck!

Hi can you share the vidcruiter intreview format? Still the alphabet game?
Yeah it’s still the alphabet game where to take bets on two columns of letters. I was in the 201 program this spring, for context.
