Capital 3hr Fundamental Associate Modeling Test
Hi All,
Does anyone have insight on Capital's 3 hour case-study modeling test? I am specifically interested in knowing:
1) what is the general format of the test and most important factors to consider
2) is there is a DCF portion
3) in terms of model structure, is there a preference on using unit economics vs. simpler growth assumptions
4) should I consider stress testing and looking at comps given the time constraint
What are the best prep/learning sources for practicing (paid or unpaid)?
I am coming from an ER background, but have no experience creating DCF/LBO models. So any pointers would be appreciated.
Do you have an interview for the fundamental associate opportunity? How do you not have experience building DCFs in your previous ER role?
