HF Analysts: How many positions do you cover/research at a time?

Hey guys, questions for other analysts as I try to get an idea for how my experience so far compares to others:

How many current positions do you typically cover at a given time?
How many new ideas are you typically working on at a given time?
How would you classify your fund's strategy?

For example:
I cover about 10-15 positions we currently hold at a given time (mostly maintenance work-watching for news, reading filings, keeping an eye on the market/comparables). Each of these positions will also have a senior analyst involved to varying degrees (depending on the position and the senior analyst).

I am typically researching between 6 and 8 new ideas at a given time (with varying levels of intensity-something which seems to have legs will end up getting a lot of time while rough ideas may only get a little attention). Like above, senior analysts will be involved to varying degrees.

Besides working on specific names I also help seniors with industry coverage (currently have 6 fairly broad industries); this is somewhere in between our idea generation and position maintenance.
