IB or AM for graduate program
Hi,
I'm a penult student in Australia doing an IB internship at a BB this summer, but I've also been looking into starting as a grad at a fund.
I've previously done an internship at an ASX100 fund but that place didn't hire grads. There are very few grad opportunities in AM here and it's not a popular path (for a career starter) so I haven't been able to find much info about graduate programs at funds.
I'm curious about what the career progression and exit opportunities would be like starting out in AM and whether there would be a large difference in the monetary compensation for grads? I know that IB analysts get around 250k (AUD) now.
I'd really appreciate any insights into grad programs in AM in Australia, thanks!
