Mining in London - Best Groups?

Currently a mining analyst at a B5 in Toronto and looking to move to London, I don’t prefer the US more for WLB reasons and also less mining exposure.

Wondering which groups have the strongest deal flow for M&A? Is it mostly dominated by BMO / RBC or is there other BB players with solid mining groups too?

Thanks for any advice

I know Citi have a good presence in London and mostly work with the majors, but very sweaty. Barclays and RBC also have established mining teams in London. MS seem to do quite a bit of mining work here too, seen them on the opposing side of an aggressive buyside. Looks like BMO are mostly doing LMM/MM out of the London office, heard culture is quite weird there. CIBC, HSBC and Standard Chartered have been recently doing a bit of hiring to build out their mining teams in LND so can try one of these banks. The London scene in general is quite active around LMM/MM mining with Canaccord and Stifel doing a lot of work.

Thank you very much, do you see them as equivalent to the other teams mentioned in this thread ? (ex: Barclays)

Reason I ask is cause I haven't heard much about them so was wondering if that was simply due to size (was told the team is quite small but gets good deals) or if they were perhaps not as strong as the other names
