What do you monkeys think about Lincoln International (UK/Europe)?

Growing MM with a strong presence in the midwest US -  not fully established in Europe or the UK yet.

What are your thoughts on Lincoln International in Europe or the UK (London/Frankfurt/Paris/Benelux/Nordics)?

Mainly interested in exit opps / WLB / ranking vs. other MM firms (HL, JEF, William Blair, Baird, DC etc.)

Moving to a BB or an EB from Lincoln would be very difficult. A select few have done so, but it's certainly not easy. Not that uncommon to lateral to other MM shops, however.

Frankfurt's office is absolute garbage and really not a great place. Bad culture for years.

Friend interned there and had a really bad time. Only good thing is that Interns dont work that much and you will get a offer if you are not stupid. Plus, you will get a few deals on your CV. Difficult market so take it and look for better opportunities while you are there.

Can't comment on Paris.

Certainly growing and on an upward trajectory in Europe and the UK. Team-wise, Healthcare is pretty strong (and sweaty) in London whilst TMT in SF and NY are performing well too. Deal range of usually $50m-500m in Europe, I imagine they hit a few larger deals in the US given the size of the market. Culture very very team dependent but given it's a volume shop, hours will be sweaty. WFH and WLB is again largely team focused and what the MD wants (FaceTime v being calm with WFH). Pitches against the MMs you mentioned but does tend to do smaller deals (apart from DC) than the MMs you've listed. Exit Opps would probably be more limited in Europe given the size of the market v the US, but I'm not well-versed in knowing Lincoln exits. I will add that a lot of people do carry on from A2AS, so career-banking (culture dependent) is a very decent option at Lincoln.

Many thanks! The people doing exits, were they AN1/2 or had they worked quite some time at the bank before?
