What to do if you sense you're under-performing / first to go upon a layoff?
Just curious, my team is hiring and I am hopefully insulated from layoffs, but if one does begin to suspect that or hear about rumored layoffs, what should they do?

Start recruiting...? You should take the weekend to fix up your resume and apply to jobs, then send networking emails to people in those jobs first thing next week.
Thanks for the response. I think my worry is that, there's all these layoffs happening, so there's just going to be so many people applying to positions, I feel so stuck.
