Am I screwed at this point as a Non-Target in the Job Search
I am a second semester sophomore student at a non-target in the Midwest. Been grinding my ass off on technicals and trying to network, as I do not come from any kind of finance background. At this point (mid April '24), I have not heard anything from a single firm regarding first rounds. Been applying to everything from LMM to BB in midwest and the coasts and trying to network into the firms I apply to.
Am I cooked?
Where do I go from here, assuming I do not get any opportunities?
Thanks
Second semester freshman or sophomore?
Damn, forgot to type sophomore. my bad.
Do you have a prior internship?
Been doing one this spring semester, been striking out pretty bad for this summer as well. an RJ O’Brien internship is kinda my last chance for summer ’24
