Is BofA coverage (TMT) a death sentence for MF recruiting?
Sorry to ask this, I'm sure it's been asked in one form or another. Essentially, if I'm trying to optimize for MF PE recruiting, that is all I care about, would I be hurting myself by going to a coverage group (i.e. TMT) at BofA vs. their M&A group? I only ask about TMT because I'm very interested in tech! This is for NYC. Been trying to look around to see what associates from BofA TMT have ended up at MFs, mostly just looks to be M&A and FSG people. Am I missing something?
