Replying to rejection email

Hi I sent a strong app w referral to JP for SA, recruiter emailed me saying they moved forward with other candidates (template email). Is there any benefit to replying or should I just move on? Thank them for their time?

You could ask for some feedback on what you can work on/ what put other candidates above you. Never hurt to send an email with a polite ask to keep you in consideration if anything else comes up (even tho this will probably never happen) and to thank them for the time. If this for a pre interview screening — don’t even bother

Reject the rejection letter and tell them you’ll see them in the summer
