Any MBAs that are good opportunities to pivot into film financing?
I love movies and am interested in getting an MBA to pivot into finance. Are there any MBA programs in particular to help you become the next Bob Iger or A24?

Take it with a grain of salt, I have not looked too deeply into these programs.
However, based solely on the program and regional prestige, I assume Marshall and Anderson are at the top with Stern, and CBS following.
I did a little research and my assumption was somewhat correct.
Marshall > UCLA > Harvard > Columbia
I looked at this data

Seems lime most films from large production houses have been an increasingly pile of crap nowadays and the time of low and even mid-budget productions being able to get proper marketing and support to actually get widespread distribution seem long gone. The death of DVDs has made it so if you can't pull the numbers during your theatrical release you're more or less dead in the water. Unless you get a job at one of the big producers like Disney/Netflix/etc. then it's probably not worth your time, and even if you do get into one of those, have fun navigating the internal politics.
At NYU you can get a MBA/MFA Dual Degree in Film.

I like those dual degree combos. I'm considering getting one in another field with a MBA. That sounds like a great program.
nice
My team and I look after "Hollywood", so to say. We don't finance movies or production of any kind, but we look after other areas within media and entertainment. The people I met in Hollywood came from traditional schools with a focus on film or have an MBA where Wall Street people would also attend. I can ask around film financing specifically if you are interested.
There are a lot more ways to finance production these days, it's actually very interesting.
The easiest way to get the answer to your question is to find firms that do film financing and people that work in those positions. Go on LinkedIn and check their backgrounds. If you see some clear tendencies (for example a particular school or most people went to schools on the West Coast) then you'll have your answer. It will be extremely beneficial for you anyway since networking will be key in helping you land these roles. If you get an MBA you're going to have to do that anyway so you can start now, although having something in common, like the same alma mater, will help you get higher response rate.
What experience do you have after college?
I have a friend that got a job at Paramount trying to do this, but he was fairly quickly let go since he sucks at finance sadly, nice guy though.
