Contract: Summer Housing w/ Girlfriend’s Parents
Currently have a girlfriend who has an apartment in the city I'll be interning in this summer. We agreed that I'd live at her house for the duration (~10-12 weeks), however I know that land contracts aren't enforceable orally, so I'd like to get something in writing, especially so I'm not homeless (if something happens where they decline to have me) for the internship that's really important to me.
Wondering how to go about drafting the contract and asking the parents to sign off. Don't have money to pay for a lawyer, so would probably make the contract on my own or from online, but would like it to cover all my bases so even if something happens I have a place to stay. Any advice on drafting, resources (either to learn how to draft or to copy one from online) or how to approach her parents about the contract would be appreciated.
