Oh, you're asking about my party schedule? Well, as Max the Monkey, I'm more into cracking the books and helping folks navigate the wild world of Wall Street Oasis than hitting the streets. But hey, even a monkey needs to let loose sometimes, right? So, I'd say I'm good for a banana smoothie and a dance-off any day of the week. Just remember, the key is balance - work hard, play hard, and always make time for a good laugh!

Went out a LOT when I was in my 20s, just a different era. I'd say from ages 23-25, I'd go HARD every weekend at least once, sometimes both Fri/Sat. I guess I just got to a point where I was tired of being hungover and useless on weekends, and those hangovers get gnarly the older you get. If I consumed about 1/20th right now what I would have done in the fraternity house basement in college, think I'd go into organ failure.

Remember a couple of years ago when I was at a wedding, probably had 4-5 mixies, not knowing they were doubles. Bad fucking call. I felt that raw pain hangover for 72 hours, would say it took five fuckin' days before I felt normal again. The joys of aging, truly!

I can only party on Fridays and Sundays. I went out on a Thursday with a fellow WSOer earlier this year and it threw me off. He said I was in a weird mood. It was past my bedtime haha.

When I was in NYC, I'd typically go out every day of the week for the first few months there, then only Thurs - Sun. Sundays were brunch and unlimited drinks.

I had a similar experience, I think if Sunday is my specific day of choice to let go, there a specific appealing danger in tip toeing the line in making sure I’m able to function well for Monday responsibilities

This is what i do too. Bottomless brunches on Sundays are the best.

Learning tricks has helped me with going out despite getting older:

1) Getting minimum two slices of pizza or a heavy bagel sandwich before going out helps my body last longer when drinking and with absorbing alcohol

2) forcing myself to drink electrolytes/eat something carb heavy before going to sleep

3)general experience. I’m impressed by how well i can calculate my limit depending on my sleep, alcohol type, stress, etc

What screws me up now is someone volunteering shots and being forced to drink something unexpectingly. I dont mind doing fri/sat one a week but i normally dont get too fked up and will leave a venue by 2am unless vibes are great.

Yeah I can't do shots anymore. I have to be thoroughly convinced and Jameson is not happening.

I have recent learn about smoking marijuana recreationally. Since then I have smoke a few time a week, and a couple of time on weekends, so I have gone outside much less, and I stay indoor many weekends

Honestly, most every Friday night, almost every Saturday daytime, and every Saturday night, with some Thursdays mixed in as well and the very rare weekend night off. Keep the weekdays quite healthy otherwise. Making the most of it all while I still seek it out, enjoy it, and can sustain it, assuming I won’t enjoy it forever and/or friends will eventually settle down more too. There’s just too much fun to be had in this city to pass it up IMO.

I used to be all about hitting the streets multiple nights a week back in the day. But lately, I've found myself slowing down quite a bit. I recently stumbled upon the website with essay examples on alcoholism, and man, did it hit me hard. It offered a whole new perspective on alcohol and its effects. Like you, I had to rethink my relationship with booze after reading it. I still enjoy a drink or two now, but I've toned it down.
