Why is there suddenly mad banana inflation on WSO

I noticed banana counts for posts are now 3-5x what they used to be. Anyone know how the new score algorithm works? My guess is that the new post scores are calculated by total SB's on the thread (including those on comments) minus total MS's but I've been too lazy to go out and tally it

Good points again. I tend to agree with you for the most part, except for the last sentence that struck me as quite odd. It is an interesting theory though. Good luck with that.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

I think some glitch happened and it now uses the same calculation that users have for banana points which is 3*SB - MS. Haven't actually went it an calculated it though.
