All associates still have to do at least one (or two?) years in Boston but then they’re “flexible” for you to move to New York. Was opened recently because they must have realized they were losing a bunch of talent that didn’t want to move to Boston. Time will tell if it’s just a marketing scheme and it’s actually an office reserved for 3-4 MDs.

 

Any insight into VPs’ ability to work in NYC? I.e. do new VPs have to be in Boston or are they fairly flexible with allowing them to be in NYC?

 

I’d be more concerned about how shitty their last fund was and how poorly the current one is going
