From PE Backed company to PE front office (Germany)

Hi guys,

I am currently working as an FP&A analyst in an FMCG company in Munich and wish to pursue my career in PE (total exp.:4 years, 3 at the FMCG co. and 1 in FP&A group consolidation). I recently had an interview for a position in a PE Backed company for an FP&A position with M&A exposure.
What would be my best bet for a front office position in PE in the mid term (2-5 years)?
FP&A PE Backed -> Top 10 (Europe) MBA -> PE
Top 10 (Europe) MBA -> PE
Also, would you consider the WHU/Mannheim/St. Gallen MBAs as the schools are strong in the DACH (but more for their MiM and MFin)?
My degree:
MiM Controlling/Finance (Non-Target)
CGMA

Thank you very much for your help :)
