Career Resources
I used to recommend the Staiger modeling book, but honestly it had so many errors that it kind of sucks compared to the various online resources now. In general, I’ve found books to be disappointingly less helpful or interesting or relevant than online resources when it comes to commercial real estate, but the four above are still worth a read.
Great real estate related books I don’t see too many ppl recommend:
- billionaires’ row - story of condo developers on billionaires row, nyc
- raising the bar - Gerald Hines biography
- what it takes - Stephen Schwarzman biography
- the new kings of New York - NYC development
Damn forgot about Gerald Hines’ book. I even have a signed copy. Highly recommend.
I thought Stevie’s book was a bit corny though, especially the last chapter or two.
