Re volunteering: How is it viewed by adcoms if someone is actively involved with something like Rotary for example? Will this be discounted against someone who came up with his/her own idea/charity?

I'm talking about liquid. Rich enough to have your own jet. Rich enough not to waste time. Fifty, a hundred million dollars, buddy. A player. Or nothing. See my Blog & AMA
 

Is the split for the GMAT score quant/verbal or verbal/quant?

Thanks for the comments, everyone. The split is quant/verbal. Can you define "rock star?" Does that mean great letters of rec, great essays, and/or great interview?
