Non-MBA Career Pivot into Investment Banking - Seeking Advice and Success Stories
I've been considering transitioning into investment banking from my current career, which I started after graduating from college 1.5 years ago. While I've always been interested in finance, my recent coffee chats with industry professionals have solidified my desire to make this pivot.
I've noticed that most people on LinkedIn seem to have either started in banking right after their undergraduate degree or have transitioned via an MBA. However, I'm hoping to make this career change without pursuing an MBA.
I'm reaching out to see if anyone knows or has advice, on this? I would really not want to do an MBA other than being expensive i dont see the point of it if there is a another way, so i am trying to learn from others who have successfully transitioned into investment banking from a different career path without an MBA. I would greatly appreciate any insights, tips, or success stories you can share.
