Top S&T Desks in HK?
Title says it all. I've heard in S&T the overall strength of your bank matters less than the strength of your desk, so I'm interested in finding out which S&T desks in Asia (more specifically HK) are the most well-regarded/top-ranked.
I've heard DB Credit, JPM eFICC, and UBS Equities to be some of the top desks in the region. Do correct me if I'm wrong
Would love to hear the thoughts of industry professionals here on WSO.
Interested as well, especially regarding derivative desks
For equity derivatives:
Index vol: socgen, bnp (American banks hit by sanctions so affected slightly)
SS vol: UBS/JP/GS, MS/CS
In general the tier 1 American BBs are strong across. French still strong in index space. SS has been the money maker for the past two years.
What's ss vol?
SS=single stock
interested as well
I would also put HSBC as a top firm in Asia (especially HK) for S&T more stronger for FICC (especially FX & Rates) and not super strong in Equities.
For equities, a good benchmark is the strength of the prime business. In HK it is UBS, MS, GS, JPM.
For FX, HSBC or JPM
Prime ?
Prime brokerage
Interested as well, does anyone know the S&T for boa/citi?
Do you know how to code
basic coding skills, why?
