Lucrative Corporate Finance Jobs Outside of traditional IB/S&T/VC/HF/PE

There is a wealth of information on these forums in terms of job opportunities and statistics for IBD at BB and exit opps such as HF/PF/VC, etc. Can someone please give me some good info for what are other viable jobs for people who cannot work for more than 60-70 hours a week due to family circumstances.

If I am interested in earning somewhere in the middle of 100-200k in my 30s, what are some of the jobs/career tracks that I can look into. I have heard good things about F500 corporate finance only through generalizations and really broad statements. Can someone actually give me some details about these sort of jobs, salaries, career tracks.

To go into corporate finance does one need to go to a target school for BBs and such? Is an MBA needed?

From the way things look now, I will most likely attend Wake Forest University and major in either finance or accounting at Calloway. I will still take a shot at IB but I also want to know what some of the other options are.

I have heard of the career path of working for big 4 for 2-3 years and waiting for the headhunters to transfer into industry and taking up a controller, cfo, managment, etc gig. But in terms of the actual jobs, salaries, room for advancement one can get in F500 I am i am uninformed.

Also how about BO/MO roles at BB. What kind of salaries, room for advancement and exit opps are we looking at.

Thank you for your help
