Asking for Advice
Hi! I’m near to finish my Bachelor of Laws at an university outside the US and UK. I recently discovered my interest in finance so I want to continue my studies in something that can lead me to a job, preferably, in AM (or ER). I’m afraid that an MSc in finance immediately after graduating won’t be enough for that. What are your opinions?
I’ll be graduating with a 2:1 GPA / between 3.3 - 3.6 and I want to work in NY or London.
I can’t go for the CFA because I need to have some work experience in finance for that, and with my undergraduate degree, it will be difficult to immediately find a job which provides me that experience.
Should I gain some work experience and pursue an MBA with a concentration in AM?
Or should I reconsider doing a second Bachelor degree in economics because with my undergraduate degree it will be impossible to land in AM?
