Comp at Long only Macro fund
Hi guys,
I got an offer for a junior PM role in London after a few years working as research analyst. It's a fund with $500bn of AUM and the position will focus on long only funds in the Macro and Emerging Markets space.
Before making my final decision I would like to get an idea of the total comp and its progression for a PM running long only macro strategies, maybe sharing your direct experience could help me (your fund AUM, strategy, comp, years of experience, location, etc.). I am uncertain if accepting this offer or waiting and maybe manage to get a PM role at a HF where pay is generally higher.
thanks in advance.
