case study

Hi all. I recently finished an interview and case study. My interviews went well but not sure about the case study part. How much emphasis is typically placed on the case study? Is it more important than the 1:1 interviews?

Hi Banker_G1rl, hope I can help. Do any of these links cover what you're looking for:

Depends. Case is more for interviewers to see how you think on your feet and do you have capacity to think for yourself rather than being told what to do every step of the way. So sometimes, you can miss the mark entirely on a case but still fair well in terms of leaving a good impression. To answer your question, neither is more important than the other (maybe case is more important in consulting field from what I hear) but what is important is that you don't leave a NEGATIVE impression on either and hopefully do well in one of the two.

A case study is a comprehensive examination of a single topic. Interviews are typically a part of case studies, but they go much further. They also contain the researcher's participant-related observations. MBA case study assignment help When concepts are applied to a situation, students retain them better.
