Chances in Consulting---Non-Target Mid GPA

Hello all,

I am a current junior (3rd year) attending a top 10 non-target (maybe semi-target?) business school. I have an internship lined up for this upcoming summer working for a tier-2 consulting firm, but my internship is not in consulting (tax). I have a 3.7 GPA and a 3.85 Major GPA along with a couple internships from previous summers.

I was wondering if anyone has input on the following questions:

  • What are my odds of being able to re-recruit to more of a management consulting role?
  • To what degree does my upcoming internship and group affect my chance of re-recruiting?

Any other advice or information would be much appreciated.

Odds to re-recruit?

Good chance
