Considering move to EY-Parthenon from Tech but still on the fence...

Hi all -

Received an offer from EY-Parthenon within the TSE (Transaction Strategy and Execution) service line. I currently work in tech as a developer and product owner but previously worked in tech consulting, the role at EY-Parthenon is a blend of PMO and product owner for a specific tool they use during transactions. I'm new to the M&A world but am interested due to the pay bump (80K TC increase) and transition to a more business-focused role outside of pure development.

My main questions when considering this role would be (1) potential exit opportunities compared to the flexibility in tech and (2) work-life-balance compared to my current role.

Anyone have any insight on the TSE service line at EY-Parthenon? WLB? Travel? Exit opportunities?

Thanks.
