Financial Sales to MBB Lateral - What segmentation for Focus?
Hi all, background - Worked at JPM/BLK/MS in financial sales roles. Career is not going in the direction I'd like it to frankly, and cannot see myself continuing this in the long run. Sales is cool, but strategy and implementation is where I'd like to end up.
The question I have is: What does this Pre-MBA experience really lead to in the MBB World? My thoughts are either M+A/Fin, or Sales/Marketing, but realize that my background doesnt exactly align with either of those. Its all about narrative obviously, and I can sell myself extremely well, but I am just looking for where my experience narrative is going to sell the best in an effort to join one of these companies.
I also expect to get an MBA in the mean time, so I'll have that going for me from a recruiting perspective.
