Junior Consultant McKinsey Europe-- Experience level req'd? Chances? Any advice appreciated.
hi, i'm currently two years out of undergrad (top 4 u.s. liberal arts, 3.4 GPA) and working at @ one of the largest (top 10) private companies in the u.s. i've always wanted to work in management consulting, especially abroad. a few weeks back, i found the perfect fit in a junior consultant program @ McKinsey london, and went through the depths of the internet trying to determine if I'm a good fit (/even have a chance @ getting hired). does anyone know:
-MBA needed for this position or undergrad ok?
-i've lived abroad before, but am only a US citizen. Major disadvantage?
-biggest concern: i'm an industry hire (granted, a really excellent match for the type of consulting given my current industry). do I have a reasonable shot at getting hired? i know industry is usually only 20% or less of hires, and my GPA isn't high.
appreciate any or all insights, thanks in advance.
