LinkedIn Job History

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in entering consulting after graduation as a stepping stone for future plans.

My current internship history has been rather inconsistent with experiences in VC, startups, accounting networks, and some consulting.

Should I eliminate the experiences not relevant to consulting to appear more consistent?

Thank you all

My internship history looks like I threw a darts in the dark and applied blind with internship experiences in accounting, finance, and consulting.

I actually think it helped differentiate my skills and story quite a bit early in  my career.

Just as importantly as answering why Consulting, I can answer why not accounting or finance. I pick a few transferrable skills that I enjoyed, and a few skills that I didn't like too much.

Also, keep in mind most employers heavily favour your most recent experience and internships hold less and less weight as time passes. I don't think having corporate experience will ever hurt your chances.
