I got deep into an interview process with them. So I can’t comment on the actual environment there, but the feelings I go from going through several rounds.
I found the people I interviewed with smart and intelligent, if a little stuffy.
They said they were not big on FaceTime, as long as you got your work done and met expected billing guide posts.
The pay scale they showed me looked really lucrative, but it’s a very much eat what you kill scale. Meaning that if you are adept at business development and can bring in mandates, you’re going to easily make 7 figures.
But if you are more used to a BB atmosphere and rely on being able to win deals just based on your bank’s prestige, you could get smoked and run out of town in a few years.
They were also slow in setting up the next rounds, and I find places that are unorganized during the interview process tend to be unorganized as a company.

Can you provide any more color as to what the interview process entailed, are they looking for people with an RX specific background?
My experience with them was awhile ago, and a commenter below said he currently works there, so you might get better color messaging him.
As far as direct Rx experience, I think it’s a sliding scale, like at most places. What I mean is that the more junior the role, the less direct experience you need.
My process entailed some behavioral questions, explicitly saying why I wanted to shift from IB to RX, and a case study type thing.

How open is the firm to hiring junior resources with RX adjacent (e.g., stellar business transformation) backgrounds?
I know someone who used to work there. Really smart people, but it is definitely a sweatshop.

1st yr associates are pulling $300+, very strong deal flow lately
Can totally see where Jr. level seem a bit stuffy - there's a trend of non target schools to some form of IB which I could see creating a complex. Being such a new firm, YMMV. I got to final round with top of the industry (Think A&M, Alix, FTI), but was rejected for a 1st round with them* which doesn't make much sense. Very interesting setup where you get to work on RX advisory, and IB deals though.

Is there ability to move up quickly with them, and what type of deal flow do they see in the RX space? Are they consulting or banking
NYC office is smaller but straight banking can’t speak on Chicago
Have gotten hit up by head hunters for the firm so much. If I work at a top RX Consulting shop (A&M/FTI/Alix) and am an analyst, would they give associate promo right away since they don't hire analysts? Or is the opportunity more like I have to wait till I'm an associate and then move over?
Don't see the logic in jumping unless I was given a quicker promotion timeline, unless I'm missing something? Big 3 work on larger deals and if you're billing a lot you're making a lot. Quarterly bonuses could be nice and I also heard rumors of equity, any idea if that's true?
If you are already at a Big 3, I don't know that I'd view a slightly faster promotion to Associate as a compelling reason to go down a tier. But your specific circumstances / goals may merit it.
