Thoughts on Plural Strategy?

Title says it all. I got an email screen from them this morning.

They're based in London I believe with a New York office. Couldn't find much on the typical sites so I thought I'd post it here.

They do Growth Strategy, M&A and post-M&A work. Seems like a great junior summer opportunity to set me up for senior year recruiting?

Interviewed with them last year. Interviewer seemed to get irritated with my reason for why I was interested in the firm and said it wasn't specific enough even when I outlined certain projects they did that I liked. Rest of the interview was fine with a simple market sizing but didn't get another round obviously.

I know someone who did intern with them in I believe the NYC office and said it was a total sweatshop. Understaffed with insane hours. That said by all accounts looks like a solid firm and I probably would've taken the offer if I got it.

It really does look understaffed. I looked on LinkedIn and there is only 1 analyst and 1 associate that pops up immediately when you type in the search bar "plural new york city". Could be great additional experience though if I'm being overworked.
