Who to contact at consulting firm?

I want to apply for an internship position in continental Europe at a top consulting firm where I participated in two events organized by them. In order to skip the hustle of building a cover letter and other recruiting steps I want to contact some of the people I met there. I have the following options:

Partner: met him at both events and had nice conversations in both. More than likely to remember me (the guy has an amazing memory) but he has not responded to my linkedin invite or a congrats e-mail, that I sent a few months ago when I read in the press of an accomplishment of his.

Manager: met him both events and had a nice conversation during one of them. Most likely will remember me. Generally a nice guy and has a career track that is in a way similar to mine.

Analyst/Consultant: met him at both events. He is for around 1 year in the company. Have him on facebook but he answers rarely.

I would really appreciate your help in who to contact. The way I see it, the Partner is the best choice but at the same time I think that he is too busy to deal with me and I do not want to look as someone who is trying to skip the recruiting stages because of some reason. However, I know that they already know me (I even got feedback from a former consultant) so I do not see the point of them trying to "get to know who I am" or for me to explain "why I want to apply there" since I already showed that a couple of times. In addition, maybe they will cut me some slack during the interview :).

Thx in advance guys.

Can't you contact all three? Most likely, HR is going to make you apply online as well so you'll still have to go through a lot of the formal steps. For some reason if you can only email one, reach out to the manager. He'll most likely be the most familiar with the people you'll interview with, and have the potential to give feedback/ help sway the group when they meet to determine how your interviews went. You can always reach out to the Analyst when you're about to start the interview process, asking for tips/ tricks.

Never thought of contacting all of them. I think it would be weird to go through several people. ..
