Prudential Superday

I received a superday with Prudential Private capital. From what I know they do mostly debt financing. I heard that there was a written assessment and wanted to know if anyone is familiar with the process regarding technicals and what to study. Been using WSO guides and M&I 400.

Congrats on your superday with Prudential Private Capital! Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's great that you're already using the WSO guides and M&I 400, they're fantastic resources.

For your superday, you might want to focus on the following areas:

1) Accounting: Understanding the basics of accounting is crucial. Make sure you're comfortable with concepts like the three financial statements and how they interact.

2) DCF/Transaction Comps/Public Comps: These are key valuation methods in finance. Be sure you understand the principles behind them and can walk through how to do each one.

3) LBO & Merger Models: Given that Prudential Private Capital does a lot of debt financing, having a solid grasp of LBO models could be particularly useful.

Remember to also fill in areas of weakness that are personal to you- whether it be a particular type of accounting question or an LBO question.

As for the written assessment, it could vary, but generally, they might ask you to analyze a company or industry, so be prepared for that.

Good luck with your superday!
