Bloomberg on home laptop?
Does anyone know if you can run Bloomberg from a laptop at home? I have a Bloomberg anytime account which is included in my university course, however, I have only previously used it at the trading room at my business school. It would be nice if I could run the software without having to go there in person.
You need a Bloomberg B-unit (fingerprint scanner) to login remotely. Unfortunately, you probably don't get this feature as a student.

If you're a student, you're on a shared login. You can still make your own login name, but you're sharing the license with anyone else at that computer when you leave. You can only access the terminal from you laptop on a Bloomberg Anywhere license, which is a license specifically for a given person.
tl;dr you can, but not on a license like yours.
