Sending Thank You Email Post-Interview?
Hey guys,
Just had an interview with an ER shop here in Australia. It's my first interview with them (went through application and online testing) but haven't received any clarity around the interview process from both the Research team and HR (i.e. not sure if this is my only interview, or if it's a first round).
Either way, I was thinking of sending a thank you email but I didn't receive their emails. I have however found their emails from some old research reports I found on Google.
Given that they didn't offer their email addresses, would it be appropriate to send them a thank you email in this case, and if so, would the following be acceptable?
"Hi X,
Thank you for taking the time earlier today to interview me for the XYZ Research Intern Program. It was great to meet you and Y, as well as learn more about XYZ and your experience abroad covering ABC across Asia.
I would like to reiterate my interest in the firm and look forward to hearing back regarding the next steps.
Thanks,
AP"
Cheers!
