Am I an asshole for wearing a tie?

I genuinely love suits. I spend a lot of money on them (typically 3k a suit) and i love ties just as much (spend $300 ea.). I understand that fashion is evolving and general office couture is moving away from wearing ties and more casual.

My question is am I an asshole for continuing to wear ties? Or should I just wear what I want? People mention it, usually complementary (you look sharp, etc.)

Thanks sexy monkeys

Nobody cares. And it they do, fuck them, you’re dressing up and feeling good.

Only two sources I trust, Glenn Beck and singing woodland creatures.

Really depends for what you do I'd say. In IB and dressier parts of "high finance," by all means I don't think you're an asshole. If you're in tech or something, then it'd just look really out of place.
