Backpack or messenger bag?

I am interning this summer as a MBA Summer Associate - should I bring a backpack or messenger bag to the office? I have both a typical North Face and a leather backpack as options but I am thinking the messenger back looks more professional. Any brand recommendations would also be great.

A leather or suede backpack is a great choice for the office. A backpack of medium size will fit quite a lot of things. Now you can find backpacks in office style that look appropriate even at work with a strict dress code. When choosing, you should pay attention to whether the backpack sits comfortably on the back and whether you can adjust the straps to your individual parameters. To avoid spoiling the inner lining of the office backpack with various items, you can buy a bag for them https://www.amazon.com/Mato-Hash-Drawstring-Promotional-1PK-100PK/dp/B076VSDHM3?th=1

I have a leather backpack from Briggs and Riley. It looks like they stopped making the leather version but they have this one, which IMO looks fine:

The main advantage is that they have a lifetime warranty, which no competitor offers. I have had mine for ~2 or 3 years and use it when travelling + to and from the office, zero issues. Highly recommend. Their luggage is awesome too. If you search for reviews on reddit you'll see them come out on top almost all the time.

If you want to save money maybe you can find one used on eBay or something. It's not cheap, but you will truly only need to buy once and then have it for 20+ years.

How is this even a question???

A backpack??? For what, your Trapper Keeper???

C'mon, son
