Alibabes56:

Mackage is NOT a copycat; their stuff does not resemble Canada Goose or even Moncler.

Thank you, I was going to post this a few days ago and didn't mention it at the time. Anyone who would assume it is a knockoff clearly doesn't understand what they specialize in. They have a few quilted down coats but that just isn't the stuff you should be buying from Mackage.

That said, the idiots who do decide to sport the few random quilted down coats definitely deserve to be clowned for it.

That is basically the winter uniform for the girls at my uni in Canada. I don't see the what the big deal is.

Keep it together and you will go far..

You start seeing them at college campuses too. I see a good amount of people at my school wearing it, both guys and girls. Never noticed it before this semester.

I see these things everywhere now also. Just another fad I suppose. It has been a completely mild winter so I don't buy the cold as fuck argument. This is essentially the north face with uggs fad that hit college campuses.

Check these guys out. I saw them all over Iceland when I went to Reykjavik a couple years ago. If you are going to go with that look at least get something unique.

I don't get it. It is a solid product + a premium brand commanding a higher price. Lots of people pay for the exact same specification in multiple product categories.

For example, Majority of Analyst + Associate bankers where suits from the same companies and buy Tag or equivalent watches.

I personally have no issue if someone were to buy this.

Those jackets look like shit and have shit quality. Then again I don't expect much out of Americans when it comes to fashion (I hear 80's-style leather jackets like Members Only are going to be in vogue in the US soon.)

I saw one a while back (like 8-10 years ago) and it was from a trip to the south pole. I think it came as part of the expedition package the woman had. Cool patch from the trip, etc. That I could get behind.

As far as it being work professional, I can't see it. I wear navy/grey/camel three quarter length overcoats. One has thinsulate for very cold days. Those jackets would look appropriate on the ski slope or something similar.
