This question has been addressed ad nausea, perform a search and you will see plenty of answers. FYI, you won't be wearing a tie every day so calm down with the made-to-measure suit for now.
Dude it's a recession just go to men's warehouse, save your money for hookers.
use the search function like MDR said. And no, you don't need bespoke/mtm or cufflinks. Yes, you should always tailor a suit - if it is decent you won't have a choice, as the pants will be unhemmed at the least.
I recommend:
Suit: -1 Charcoal -1 Dark Navy
Shoes: -1 Black -1 Burgundy
Shirts: -3 Whites -3 Light Blues
Ties: -no need more than 4...i recommend stripes with solid shirts and solid or dots with patterned shirts
i suggest you go to men's warehouse and JoS. A. Bank and find some cheap ones...believe me, just tailor them right and you will look great. no need for expensive brands

I would say soulsearchings list is good, but I would def get more than 6 shirts. When I was a SA, I barely had time to do laundry/get dry cleaning done, and had about 10-12 shirts when I started.
I have a few shirts from charles tyrwhitt. not turnbull asser quality but bearable for an analyst.

i can't tell you how long i have been searching for this style of shirt.
i personally hate french cuffs. i find cufflinks a total pain in the ass and i do enjoy rolling up the sleeves from time to time. and i wear a spread collar, and hate blousy shirts. but i'm looking for sub-$100 shirts. holy grail for me, i suppose.
i found a hugo boss shirt that almost fit the bill but the collar was a bit on the big pimp side so i really don't like them that much.

Are striped shirts acceptable? Just a simple light blue bengal stripe.
I never see them mentioned. They wouldn't be worn with a loud tie.
Shoes -- try Ferragamo/Zegna, they're the best Suit -- You can do bespoke, but as a start get one of the rack so you learn what fits you best before doling out 1000+ for a bespoke. I suggest Saks for off the rack Shirts-- T. Pink is decent, Massimo Dutti in London I like a lot. I like plain white and light blue for winter, then striped, pink, etc on the summer. Also, lacoste polo shirts are ok for most shops during the summer.
Pink shirts are nice. But very difficult to find cutaway collared single cuff shirts

I would not have worn them as a summer analyst, but I have seen analysts wear them.
Personally, as an analyst, I would stick to a style that does not attract attention - that being a simple black captoe (Johnston & Murphy for $150ish or Allen Edmonds Park Avenue for $300is)

Buying Ferragamos as an undergrad is a mistake because: 1. At time time, the price of the shoe was little under 5% of my entire SA salary 2. As an undergrad, you want to look good (there's no doubt about it). But, there's an extent to how "good" you can look. NEVER be more well dressed than you're Analyst/Associate (ESPECIALLY ON THE WEEKENDS - no true's, gucci, DG jeans)
If you're ever in Asia (I'm guessing this is probably more applicable for undergrads in their final yr vs. SA-ers), there are a number of good tailors you can get good shirts and suits made for reasonable prices (e.g. $40-50 per shirt, $300-500 for suits...)
A ton of reviews on Ask Andy forums, but to start you off, Jantzen Tailors does pretty decent shirts.
Besides the fact that this has been done Ad Nausea and you should have done a search for it, there are 3 things I want to point out:
1) Drop the high quality BS. You're an analyst, not an MD. You're not supposed to be rolling in wearing T&A Shirts, Bespoke Suits and Ferragamo loafers. You aren't in a client facing gig. Most of your attire will be slacks and a shirt, no tie.
2) Speaking of suits, for when you need to be in one, you can get great deals and good quality at outlet malls. Woodbury Commons is a perfect example. Good suits at a decent discount if you feel that you need a name brand. Otherwise, there's Jos. A. Bank (I own 4-5 sweaters from there, no suits), Brooks Brothers (2/3 to 3/4 of my shirts are from there), and Men's Warehouse are all great places to look. Additionally, pay attention to when Saks and Neimans are having their sales, because you will find good deals there too. This also holds true for ties.
3) I am going to point this out one more time, you're a FT analyst just out of college. Don't waste your money on things you don't need (like a bespoke suit). Wait until you close the deal before you buy that bespoke. Until then, be reasonable, and pull up every other past fashion thread.
You're going to want to save money, but for the love of god don't buy a $165 suit.
With my group last year, the rule of thumb was to always dress better than the person above you. The firm as a whole was business casual, but my group was strictly business formal.

If I get rich enough to star my own fund some day, I think I'll make that a rule. The interns can wear full suits, the new hires can come in business casual, the older guys can rock casual wear, and I'll come to work in my underwear. Sounds like a good dress code to me.

Pickyourbattles has a point, good to look at the more senior people at your firm in order to get a sense of general dress code. Of course this doesn't mean you should be wearing a Breguet when they're wearing a Rolex, but this just is good guidance...
