Shoes for analyst level bankers
Could someone please recommend me some casual smart shoes for entry level bankers?
I am thinking about something like Giuseppe Zanotti or Ferragamo. Found a couple of appealing drivers from these two designers.

Or if you'd send me link of some nice driver or moccasins in the range of 400-600 USD, I would appreciate that!
If you're thinking about those, you may as well go with those gucci loafers with the fur coming out the back. You will be your MD's favorite analyst. Hands down.
get yourself a pair or two of allen edmonds oxford dress shoes in black / dark brown. I think generally if you take care of your shoes, wear them in the office, and use shoe trees, they will last you a lifetime.
Meermin and Jack Erwin are two other brands that I found to be fairly priced and good quality.
Cole Haan are ideal, Allen Edmunds if you really feel the need to impress higher ups around you (you don't).
Both are a no they are just too much, too casual.
reminds me of another thread where OP asked if it's okay to wear his patek his dad got him for his entry level analyst role.
the answer is no.
The very first day of work, go look at what the associates are wearing and buy the same shit. Always dress up to the first person above you. Also the second pair of shoes you posted are painfully ugly...fucking try hard.
You will get laughed off the floor with those on. Plus, never wear something nicer than what your boss wears... analysts dont get to compete in who can wear the nicest/most expensive shoes in the office.
Earn your stripes, then you can wear ferragamo.
Churches Dubai.
I rock Allen Edmonds loafers daily and have oxfords for days when I suit up and care about presentation. There are normally some cheap(ish) AE loafers that work
churchs, santoni, meermin mallorca
Crockett & Jones
What is up with these stupid threads popping up over and over again. I can't tell if they're going for the "humble brag here's what I'm looking at as an "entry" level analyst" (BTW, neither of what you linked is "entry" level analyst) or legitimately disconnected from reality...
Allen Edmonds mate
What are everyone's thoughts on Cole Hahn?
**haan. typo
Lot lower quality then Allen Edmonds for a small price variant.
Nice username
I mean seriously...
Allen Edmonds is the only place you have to buy dress shoes from.
Seconded. Not sure why anyone even bothers to ask this...unless you can afford the ultra-high-end stuff, this is the only brand you need to worry about for dress shoes.
Cole Haan is hardly worth the money these days.

I am a newly hired analyst at a BB in the BO. I am a wall street virgin, so I need some input on these suit and shoe choices.
Charcoal DKNY Suit, Wool, Side Vented, Notch Lapel.

I would then take this to a third party tailor.
Allen Edmonds Lombard Wingtip Shoes http://www.menswearhouse.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay_1…
I do not need a suit for everyday wear. This should serve as an all around suit for most occasions.
I am mostly looking for comments on quality.
Get Allen Edmonds Park Avenues before the Lombard
I honestly can't tell if this is a troll or not
What in my message indicates that I am a troll?
Any non-decorous slim fit suit will suffice. If you have irregular body proportions like myself you need look no further than Rajawongse http://www.dress-for-success.com ...these fine men have been stocking my suit rack for over 5 years.
Congrats on your new job and always take great pride and care with what you wear.
I don't like Lombard. They look like old man shoes. Go with something else like PPJ said.
whats your dress code like in the BO?
Ambiguous shoes that could pass for either plain black sneakers or work boots, Dickies pants, and a Calvin Klein polo (with a crew neck undershirt).
