Bloomberg Functions
Hi Monkeys,
I was just wondering what are some key functions to know when using the Bloomberg terminal and what are some shortcuts to know when analyzing various sectors, equities, FICC, etc.
I tried looking at past threads for this but there isn't any relevant information. Thanks in advance!
Related question: is there a way to learn Bloomberg if I’m neither on-campus nor had experience using it over the summer? Starting FT soon. Or will I just have to learn it afterhours at the desk?
Just go to the Corporate Finance Institute website, and under the CMSA programme they have a free course on Bloomberg Terminal.
You can also take the Bloomberg Markets Concepts certification course through Bloomberg for $149. Covers a lot of useful macro concepts and common functions and doesn’t require a terminal. Highly recommend, it’s a good course and very nice intro to the terminal.
To be clear this was in response to the S&T intern who asked about learning Bloomberg in the first comment.
