Heard it’s supposed to be a huge launch and they named a few executives already. Curious if anyone knows any PMs or Business Dev folks going there.

My PM recently left to go there, hearing lots of 7-8 figure guarantees being thrown out by Bobby. IMO it's the epitome of the crazy MM launches we've seen recently. Just madness.

Does sound like it but the guarantees I've been hearing sound too good to be true. I'm gonna as far as to say it's Exodus 2.0, not jr, both in terms of talent acquisition and AUM.

I love the move of hiring Enright - everyone has listened to the Enright episode of capital allocators - so allocators will be like “Paul Enright - I heard him on that podcast” - cuts check for new fund
Per bloomberg, they're cutting fees to get in clients so perhaps fundraising not going as well as expected. I've heard through my network that they're a bit desperate for talent so have made some PM offers that wouldn't make any sense elsewhere due to lack of record.
I don't think 50bn more LP capital to the space in last few years resulted in similar growth in talent pool.
FYI they are on record saying quant won't be a significant part of their strategies
They are probably soft launching with 3BN and will grow over time. The PMs joining (publicly that is) have not been superstars but I’d imagine there are some none public hires that are.
A bigger launch this year that is sneakily quiet is Taula - believe they are launching with 5BN+
