I've not met too many women in single manager style funds if I'm being totally honest, but I've seen a bunch in pod shops and long onlys, may have to dig through LinkedIn. I'm sure some would love to speak to you about their unique experiences in the industry.

She’s not a hedge fund analyst but she’s had the best track record, beating Warren Buffett by a wide margin. She’s a particular congresswoman from California and would be a great networking connection!
